SHOEMAKING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 – FABULA BESPOKE SHOES

László Fabula, master bespoke shoemaker and founder/operator of Fabula Bespoke Shoes in Dömsöd, Hungary, handcrafted entirely by himself the shoe submitted to the competition. The carefully crafted shoe tree accompanying the shoe is the work of Kálmán Berta.

The model represents a classic design style, executed with stability and precision, with the heel detailing standing out particularly among the entries. The jury applied a 5% deduction because the shoe sole did not receive a natural surface treatment.
