The workshop
In the Fabula workshop workflows and procedures retain the original traditions of shoemaking. Work is done with special tools from the last century by hand. Thanks to this, the hand-made Fabula shoes are finely detailed masterpieces, exceptionally durable as well as true artistic works.
The leather
Most of the Fabula bespoke shoes are made from cordovan by Horween, which is the best quality horse leather, but they are often made from cow and calf leather as well as exotic leathers (caiman, elephant, rayfish, crocodile, and ostrich).
The chosen leather depends foremost on the clients’ needs and the type of shoe. The durability of the shoes and their aesthetic value is determined greatly by the fact that László Fabula uses exclusively first class leather, which he personally chooses from international leather factories in Austria, Germany or France.
